When you catch a public bus, what do you say to the bus driver?

I'll say the destination or "return to" destination. Don't bother with single. Then I will be kind and say thank you if it wasn't absolutely crap.

I once almost said Habbox Forum though which could have been disastrous.

I have one of those cards that you just put money on now, but when we had tickets you would buy from the driver I would say the type, so 'daily zone 2 concession' usually.

That's what people would usually say, sometimes they'd say like 'daily to the city' or something but I never heard anyone just say the price.

Admittedly I literally never use busses anyway, but even when I did I always said hi haha. Still, saying thanks after is more important imo - having said that, I remember some bus drivers that were grumpy *******s haha

Nothing, have headphones in ears and just put oyster card on the reader and walk straight on.

Tbh I never even knew people said either of the destination or the price really so just goes to show how much it varies from place to place, definitely learnt something new after being used to the no-one saying a thing that goes on here on entry/exit of bus
