This just pisses me off so much.
They expect us to supply their giant company with income and eliminate the companies they think are losing them money. As if, the last time I spent credits on habbo was 2 years ago and judging by what they are doing, that will be the last.

Agreed, and I doubt we're the only ones who feel this way. As for going the the press, I think it'd make a good story. I could also see BBC's Watchdog trying to do something about it if they were contacted.

I saw it briefly mentioned earlier but i don't kniw to what extent and i cba reading back through all this lot.

Basically there is a "Donate" option on the forum to contribute towards costs of running the forum. Any amount can be donated, but those that donate £1.50 or more get put into a special user group which has extra features over those who haven't donated. Those who donate £3.00 or more could get put in an even further upgraded usergroup with even mopre features. Rather that this new group being VIP could it not just be called Donator/Supporter or something.

You could find a way of putting it like "A forum arcade uses more server resources, therefore those who have donated towards server costs will get access to it".

The one thing i hope we can do if nothing else is do the Christmas VIP becuase i'm not buying any until it comes out, as mine runs out on the 30th December so it would be pointless.

But if it doesn't ill guess i have a year of something. I really don't see the harm in VIP becuase if we objected we just wouldn't pay lol

Something I think I saw in the thread looked good; you donate (£1.50 or whatever) and you then have the option to join a "group" which has special features. You're not selling premium services, people are donating and can join a special group if they want, as a way of saying thanks... could be a bypass...

I think they should release the Christmas VIP on the last day VIP will be available, along with the Easter colour and some other fancy colours.
