Yeap agree with above. That's what I meant. City are wasting money in my opinion, they have robinho and if they bought tevez too then that would be enough strike force to get you challanging for the top 10. What city need are defenders, however, they aren't buying any of them. He's not complaining that City are spending money, rather how they are spending it. You seem to be arguing the case of throwing money at a wall and seeing if it sticks, whereas he thinks City need to consider this spending more and be a bit more clever.
Eto'o, Santa Cruz - More strikers, who are possibly past their prime? I thought you wanted a squad to become a fixed top four (or atleast top 6) side? Surely then you need young talent.
Tevez - You have plenty of strikers anyway.
Barry - Midfield? Kompany, De Jong, Ireland, Elano, Johnson, SWP and then Barry? Hope you have a comfy bench at Eastlands.
"Scott" Taylor - You have Given and youd rather play Taylor? Or you'd rather send Hart to Brum to have Taylor as back up?
You haven't got a goalscorer? Robinho not doing it for you then?
Stuart's brother, I think.
I agree with what you say apart from the bit on Joe Hart. Given is obviously gonna be first choice and at 22 Joe Hart needs to be playing games. So it made sense to loan him out and get Stuart Taylor as cover. He's not complaining that City are spending money, rather how they are spending it. We're closing in on Mark Hudson and have had a bid accepted for Paul Quinn
.
What many of you don't understand, is that we don't play Robinho upfront as a striker like you all seem to believe. We play him on the left wing and usualy have two players upfront, which is why were looking for the likes of Santa Cruz, Tevez and Eto'o, which means if we did get these three players, one of them will be on the bench. This is exactly like United getting Berbatov last summer? United already had Ronaldo as a top scorer, but he of course doesn't play upfront, but they wanted another top striker upfront, even though they already have Tevez and Rooney, meaning they could put Tevez on the bench.
So far though, it looks like we will only be getting Tevez added to our strike force, leaving us with the two strikers we need upfront, meaning we need a substitute striker now.
Also for all those saying we need more defence, well were trying to get Lescott, and were suposedly still trying to get Terry which will be impossible. And yes I made a mistake naming Stuart Taylor as Scott Taylor, i'm human so don't have a go at me.

poor bellamy
not
Tevez was on loan, and there was always going to be the possibility that he would leave. And, Berbatov wasn't bought to score goals, he was bought because of his impressive assist record. That United squad was built around Ronaldo. Their 2 forward men, Rooney and Berbatov hold the ball up and neither are prolific strikers. Rooney puts in the graft and Berbatov can hold the ball up well, giving Ronaldo the chance to score with a spark of brilliance. What many of you don't understand, is that we don't play Robinho upfront as a striker like you all seem to believe. Ok, sure. I'll give you the choice of Robinho, Santa Cruz, Bellamy, Evans, Bojinov, Caicedo or Vassel. So far though, it looks like we will only be getting Tevez added to our strike force, leaving us with the two strikers we need upfront, meaning we need a substitute striker now.
Like I said, it's not just that, your squad is incredibly unbalanced. See how many strikers you have? And how many defenders can you name? Zabaleta and Kompany are good players. And yet when you sold Corluka that was a step backwards and instead you signed another striker in Bellamy. Also for all those saying we need more defence, well were trying to get Lescott, and were suposedly still trying to get Terry which will be impossible.
