I think it's dumb you can poison the portals though.

LOL, Poison a Portal, I must agree... That is VERY dumb. Im a noob though, So i always die in the game -.-'' its too hard, Too many monsters around.

Go to a tower and range or mage them from there. Use protect from range or mage if you can.
