I think it's stupid because if you think about it if they go on habbo alot and stuff then the chances are they aren't the best looking spanner in the works eh? Or they a right weirdo.
Also people can hold back information over the internet and only chose to say things they want you to hear.
Also, i'd be asking the question of why are they askign to date someone over the Internet? Can't they get someone in real life?

yeah lots of habbo people are ugly, but lots aren't.
some of the people on this forum are well good looking.

and that could be the case in some situations, but in others i think it's just that they've been talking to someone online who they get on with, just as well, or better than they do with people they know in rl
then they end up getting close to them and *REMOVED* :)

A lot of people i know off the net don't even use habbo! And looks aren't everything. If you see them on webcam and still like them then its fine? tbh its hard to hold back information because things start appearing to indicate something is wrong.

I know for a fact i can tell people stuff on the internet that i find hard to in rl. I think its utter bs how you say "can't they get someone in rl" Like helen said some people on this forum are stunners & they would be able to get someone but maybe its not the right person? The internet just opens up more choices.

Its their choice if they want to spend time on the internet. Maybe they live too far from friends? Maybe they don't feel the need to talk about their friends all the time?
