the ps3 does nto have better graphics :L 360 and ps3 are just the same with graphics in my opinions any way i should know my brother got ps3 i got 360 and play them both and see no difffernce

It's the same with iPods, iPods are just more annoying. The iPhone in America is like £150? or £200 I can't remember with like a 20 pound contract.

Sony made Blu Ray as a format, they set the price, they didn't just adopt a new format made by someone else, same as UMD.

You must be living under a rock labeled 10 years ago then, only a few budget and childrens films are released on VHS, and this only becuase the publishers cant afford to released on a newever format, or the wider audience still uses VHS, with young children I imagine this is true. The fact is quality changes, people expect better quality, as such better formats are created. It's simple evolution. And as for you not giving into Vista you're just being stubborn for the sake of it, if you really cared you'd use Linux anyways. XD

Urm actually they are incredibly cheap, a blu ray drive costs about £400 pounds nowadays but when te ps3 first came out they were about £1000
