It certainly was pointing out the obvious and it just makes you wonder what planet the people who make such decisions are from to not realise that.
Exactly. It really is silly.

Ouch, a forum isn't simply for positive posting, it's a place for discussion on many topics that interest the public and it's members, and that obviously would involve different opinions, how boring would it be otherwise? We don't have to agree with everything that we read, and it's important to read and listen to why someone feels strongly about something. An open mind sometimes is necessary. Not a personal attack on anybody here.
If I became General Manager I would have imposed auto bans on anybody who could not be positive on this forum. It is your opinion which cannot be doubted or questionned, but if that opinion is posted and will cause more negativity then it has to be dealt with.
Extreme example of this is slander, which is (I believe) regarded as a criminal offence?
Basically, I would have no problem with banning anybody that set out to impose their negative opinions on others, with the intention of influencing the opinions of others.
Most of the members here are kids not criminals, and those older and wiser members should lead by example, not with threats.
Sure I agree with punishing those whose sole intention is to do damage here, but those members do seem to be picked out very quickly and banned.
It's the quality of your posts that count, not the quantity!
Dignity does not consist in possessing honours, but in deserving them.
I wouldn't really say the council is a complete fail but it does seem lik our opinions aren't really listened to regarding the recent rep thing.
ah well. I think that the ban was unfair as I've seen some perfectly fine posts by him but as soon as you start voiceing your opinion against ANYONE in power (online or otherwise..) you get the back hand.

Thats power for you.

No, you ARE saying that, a forum is a place to express our views however we want to, it's not insulting anyone. Habbox is being run like, I don't the right word for it, a communist country. You can't be to negative. Or you get shot. In this case, banned.I'm not suggesting that you have to do that.
But nobody likes a whiner, it gets old eventually. I'm not gonig to judge you, or insult you by trying, because I don't know you and don't often read your posts, but there are better ways of getting things sorted than by constantly complaining and being negative.
You don't ban people for whining! There is no rule that says "Habboxers must be always like the stepford wives!"I'm not suggesting that you have to do that.

This is completely uncalled for ban.
I have noticed in my time here, that a site that is mostly governed by about 15 - 18 year olds just keeps collapsing when management can't take jokes, they don't listen to criticism or care about your opinions. Good sites listen to their veiwers! They take in their opinion and FIX what's wrong! This site has remained completely unchanged for 2 whole years. The layout is still a free template. The forum skins are still the same. The rules change in the wrong ways.
It's a bad comparison, but this is like americas attitude towards the freedom fighters. They killed people for their simple opinions and questions.
Habbox banned someone for saying that an Ione gift was indeed a super rare? Absolutely pointless ban. Hyped up teenagers.
OpinionsFTW, for example has freedom of speech. Here, does not sadly.
EDIT: Reading Azdeh's other post. Autobans? For saying something negative? We choose to come to Habbox, it's not like school. See a single other forum with autobans for opinions. I will be so impressed.

Firstly, as for the comments regarding the Habbox Council being a 'failure'. Our chair released the first agenda a week or two ago consisting of topics and suggestions both staff and Habbox users brought to us. Out of all the suggestions we put forward only one was not accepted by management and the rest all put into action, which in my view is fantastic.
Secondly, one can not expect the council to start off running efficiently in its first few weeks of operation. Most things in life take time to fully establish and to brand it a 'failure' is not necessary, however you do have the right to air your opinions. May it be said that the Habbox Council is now stronger than it's ever been and things are really starting to stabilize with a promising future ahead.
I'm not pointing fingers to a sole but let's get real. There are always forum users who go out of their way to make other users day to day experience on the forum hell through constant, unnecessary negativity. Very often with the sole purpose to gain attention or to live out this little child like e-rebel fantasy life style in front of a PC screen. If banning a user for constantly being negative is such a crime then how do we ensure a fun and youthful experience for those forum users who seek a enjoyable online environment, something the Habbox Forum has been established to do? I think many users also need to remember this is a Habbo forum open to users of all ages, old and young alike.
Lastly, this is not aimed in anyway at you, Undertaker, as I don't know you well enough to comment on your situation and I hardly ever come across the posts you create. This is my general opinion on the topic at hand.
Don't bother giving me + or - rep as I simply don't give a dam...?Cheers

You are epic ******* win. Have some rep.
I would make a United Arab Emirates joke about now but I would face a ban.
Stupid tbh
edit. I really should start quoting people otherwise I am going to seem like I am pointless posting. This was in response to boonzeet.
