In my opinion WoW stopped being fun since tbc because everything got too repetitive. But if you want to join i suggest going on a high population pvp realm

And i suggest going as a rogue, with poisens you will be unstopable in pvp

What I don't understand is how WoW became more repetitive after tbc.. 60 (or 58) - 70 introduced a whole new load of quests, not all of them were collect x, kill x and x or kill x for x, though that did make up a chunk of the quests I thought the tbc leveling quests were refreshingly new.
