Aguero is overrated pants, otherwise he'd be somewhere other than Athletico Madrid. Ribery doesn't impress me on the international scene, you have to impress at the very top to be world class (in my opinion, obviously).

Maicon was a dodgy one for me as I don't think any full back in the world is world class. That's just me though.

You surely can't say that about Aguero. The same thing happened with Torres, he was a highly rated talent from a very young age in Spain, but loved his team and said he didn't want to move away but eventually he did and look where he is now. It's the same with Aguero, he loves his team and doesn't want to move away really but when he does, and he will, then he will become as good as Torres, and in my opinion even better.

I agree slightly with the Full back comment. You don't get people the same class as Cafu/Roberto Carlos e/c/t these days, but Alves/Ramos/A.Cole and Lahm are all very very good full backs and the best in the world at the moment.

I don't personally think he is overated, he is only 20 and is a good player, wait till he has peeked then he will be amazing. I think it's the opposite for Forlan, He isn't terrible for Uraguay, Uraguay is terrible for him. If he played for Spain or some other national side (I know it isn't possible), then he would be a much better international player, but you can't expect him to win the game himself.

One player that I would have said was world class a few years back is Shevchenko, if only he didn't move to Chelsea...

EDIT: Yeah included Cole now Clichy will be up there in a few years too.

england for the world cup. i'd rather have that hope and dream than to write them off from the start, and hope i'm wrong because that's not supporting them, that's just following them. and while i'm at it an english club will also win the CL. :8
