Doesn't affect much really. Got Premier League clubs buying all these players at 15 and stuff and they'll use them but if the under-18 transfer ban came into place it would stop that. A matchday squad, is what, 18 players, what's this 25 all about. Just name 8 homegrown players and don't use them.

Teams name 20 odd player squads for all matches, only 18 get chosen for match day. Silly imo.
