Videos with swearing

This reminds me of when the filter got changed some months back and re-applied again due to someone being punished for it. Anyway; we will not allow swearing full stop, there is no need and has been expressed too many times and it is not up for discussion. In the regards of videos; there is no need to post videos full of bad language at all. The odd word or mid language is suitable but other stuff there is no need and it isn't permitted. Even if the forum is not full of six year olds, there is still no actual reason for content to be posted on HabboxForum fully complete of inappropriate language.

Perhaps clarifying what excessive is clearly (without going ott) should be put in the new FAQ, unless i missed it in the current then, coz i'd have no idea.

Well that's the mergers fault for not merging ;l

As it says in the rules what's mild and what's excessive will be covered by the moderator although it's pretty obvious, if you listen to a video for 1 min and you hear say the F word multiple times, that's excessive. I'm not gonna say X number is excessive cause it's not, it all depends on the video.

Aha true. But if you mean that i could ask you if a video is alright, and then post it, i've done that before (but with garion) and it was taken down by another mod. This is why i dont like it D: (even though i didnt get any form of punishment)

but through videos its not harmless.... Videos aren't directed at YOU so if someone says ***** or something its not going to personally offend you

I think that swearing on the forum should be allowed, ie - in the right context. I believe severe words such as the insultive black one etc should be filtered. I don't think a filter is extremely nessessary ie - to the excess hxf used to have it. But with the odd exception as i stated.

I think maybe habbox should do a survey to see the majority age of user on their main site and then on their forum. I think that video's no matter what context (except illegal) should be allowed in a spoiler. But only an appropriate warning, like the thing you have on trading (buying - selling).

Habbox has a mostly 13-21 population. I don't know anyone under that age on this forum.

Scott the difference is with saying it once and saying it 50 times - that's a lot, a parent may not mind their child hearing the word once but to find them listening to a video with the word excessively, they may feel differently.
