Videos with swearing

Hey, scottish (Habbic/Scott) just posted a thread with a video, i'm not sure which one and it got removed for excessive swearing and he gave a warning too. Videos with one swear is fine but some with a few bits of swearing get removed? He put a warning so if a user that doesn't like swearing clicks it then it's their problem, not his as they shouldn't have clicked it and it's not as if it's on auto play either.

I think you should allow videos with excessive swearing but the user HAS TO put a warning before it and put it in a spoiler or they recieve a warning/infraction.

The video had loads of swearing in it, it wasn't just mild swearing it was really inappropriate so I agree the video should have been removed. Any video that contains swearing the user has to put a warning.

This is the rule:

Only mild inappropriate content is allowed, the video in question here had words which are not allowed on the forum in any circumstances.

In most cases, videos with a few swearwords in are allowed although there are a few words which are not even to be mentioned once, these words are incredibly offensive, not mild and will never be permitted.

We will not allow videos with excessive swearing, and that comes down to the same argument about the Forum Filter, what's the point in the forum filter if we allow excessive swearing in videos with a warning? Just no. Hearing the words is worse than seeing them.

You have to remember that Habbo's target audience is quite young (meaning most people on this forum are young too). This is one of the main reasons this rule is enforced I believe. Moderate swearing is allowed where a spoiler & warning is allowed - which I think is fair enough personally.

He clearly stated in the thread title it contains swearing though. If the user clicked play then it's their problem.

Saying the N word or the F word etc isnt 18+?

When there are disclaimers saying 'contains swearing', this is supposed to inform the user that the video contains mild swearing, and if they watch it to find out that it is very severe and continuous swearing, i'm sure some will be very offended.

That video was not suitable for the general audience of this forum.

if someone cant take swearing then they shouldnt read the contains swearing thread no matter what, otherwise they are just severely ******ed and should be put down the idiots.
