Haha lol Apple are showing no love for Windows. Like Recursion said someone will get around it for everyone, maybe a live feed of a mac playing the event.

I'm hoping they'll hurry up and release a new iPod touch with camera tbh! Maybe tomorrow, eh?

... Interesting... Maybe they're not showing support for Windows and are going back to the snotty hole from whence they came?

    OR

ALL Mac users will be shown the conference/event whether they like it or not? Maybe Apple released an update that made it so they can overhaul your Mac whenever they wish to show you stuff that probably doesn't have much to do with you

Exactly! Stupid marketing tbh. They should be targeting people who wouldn't normally buy apple products, not ones which are already likely to buy as they already have one..

Its not stupid marketing. The average consumer does not care about watching a press conference. Any that has the slight interest and watches it will lose interest long before it finishes. Anyone who has a 'higher than average' care for technology most likely owns at least one Apple product capable of viewing this or would seek out a stream to view it on elsewhere.

I would say most people who spend £100+ on a MP3/4 player would be buying an iPod and at least half of those would be iPod touch's, which are capable of viewing this conference.
