Why is it that HxHD always gets targeted with such things?

There are loads, if not all departments that would benefit from getting international staff.

Events for example, if they had more international staff they could do events at time that would attract members from a different time zone.

Rare values - By having international staff we can attract people from other time zones to use our rare values guide.

The only problem is, is actually finding the international staff. Since the merge most people seem to have stayed with their native fansites and thus it's hard to hire new international staff. Once we have got a small team of international staff then it will get easier and easier.

But again, i don't think we should keep targeting HxHD and making it sound really bad, Shar and David are doing a great job. Why not make a thread and include other departments in it that it also applies to. Obviously somethings will just be HxHD, or just events etc but it just seems that HxHD is really getting targeted lately.

Events - The problem with Events with international staff is that when you post on the Forum there isn't alot of International Users that read the Notice Board so it's hard to get people to your event, well easy if you create an event etc.


I'm not trying to targer HxHD, I'm trying to help them (since they had a big loss of staff), I'll try help out every department as much as I can.

Firstly wherever it said HxHD is going downhill that's ********. HxSS was not long ago and since it was major it's perfectly acceptable for it to not of been busy.

Shar and David for TWO applications for International (well that's what they say anyway) that's not our fault if no international people want to apply :S

Just thought I'd point out the main parts as your post was very important and I thank you for posting it I really don't understand why HxHD keeps getting targeted... Maybe because it's a community department and we deal with a lot of characters everyday... the decisions we make can't always please and help everyone but we do try and make everyone happy. At the same time it is really hard...

True it isn't your fault that Intl. People don't want to apply, but I think Shar has thought about the International only applications and I think it'll be a great success if it goes ahead

I agree... There is no evidence to say HxHD is going down hill... The only evidence people have is that the department was lacking in staff, As I said above any department would be hit hard if this happened... It does not mean that department is going "downhill"

Sounds like enough evidence to me. It's perfectly fine for a department to go downhill, we're not saying it's totally failed.. we're just saying it's not what it used to be - which is perfectly acceptable and truthful.
I'm not going to moan about HxHD because it's happening to all departments and the same happens each year. People resign when it comes to September to "concentrate on school" but they'll all be back once they've settled in.

Yeah, HxHD had a severe lack of staff members. I'm in there pretty much all night and I haven't seen more than 3 staff members. With the new trialists however, hopefully there will be more activity!

Now this, I agree with. I think HxHD Staff (and Management!) have forgotten about this little thread made by Roxy916 back in July... the new ruling system seems to have been ignored and we've reverted back to warning for absolutely everything.

I agree. As you've said, the problem is with people sticking to the fansites used before the merge and not wanting to move. There's been a few international events staff but they usually resign as they feel quite lonely sat doing events on their own

When people settle in at school, staff will start coming back and so will the visitors. It's not HxHD's fault as such.

Also, i don't want to sound like i don't agree with this idea or that i think HxHD is 100% perfect as nothing is. I think we do need more international staff and we could only benefit from this.

The point i was making is that it seems HxHD gets targeted with all the problems that Habbox has (HxL gets it too tbh)
