And anyone should be able to go to whatever place on earth they feel like without being judged - and sometimes discriminated against. But it happens, so lets move on.
I think it is ridiculous there is even an argument over this?
Infact, lets look at when Habbox was most popular. It was when new members were not 'respected' in spam at all - if anything there has been improvement in terms of them being allowed in. Yet HabboxForum is less active than it used to be? The fact spam has a smaller userbase does not effect anything. Perhaps users just like it how it is? Look at the Anime forum, they hated the idea of having more people involved in their discussions - perhaps we should just merge than unused forum with Discuss Anything, so users feel more welcomed.
yeah it is just basically the old school, if you will, leaving like I haven't been active for ages until now leah, jake, chainy john, jen just to name a few left the sports section is dormant. Basically over moderation and people growing up and not being replaced.
Who is arguing? I am certainly not. It's called a discussion.I think it is ridiculous there is even an argument over this?

Spam has always had members leave and then people come in.
What on earth do you base this on?
It just seems like a really subjective comment to me with little or no foundation.Infact, lets look at when Habbox was most popular. It was when new members were not 'respected' in spam at all - if anything there has been improvement in terms of them being allowed in.
As far as merging it with 'Discuss Anything' goes I like the Spam section - it is unique in it's own way.
@ Lucy - spam is not over moderated at all. In fact the mods are more lenient with that section than any other and 'abusing of each other', if they are friends, is often allowed.

I think a few wires have been crossed here, Richie and someone else mentioned about the spam forum being quiet therefore Catzsy tried to explain why she thinks the spam forum is being quiet, I believe wires have been crossed by others assuming she meant that this is the reason the whole forums posting has generally declined (although not by much lets remember).
I think people are also forgetting that Habbo fansites are no longer what they were three or four years ago, the Habbo community was quite literally based on fansites, Habbo staff used to refer to us as "super fansites" as Habbox for one had the support of around half of the active communtiy on Habbo.co.uk which was phenomenal, nowadays as we know Sulake care less which generally means less advertisment for us - you can say "go advertise yourselves" and we do, search the names of some of the big fansites on your navigator on Habbo, I can guaruntee you that 80% of the time Habbox will have A) More rooms being used and B) More people in those rooms. Of course people will listen to adverts from Sulake more than they listen to us and this is why I am glad 0rca, since stepping into the fansite administration role has tried to involve fansites more, her fansite spotlight may just be the start, fansites are back in touch with Sulake so we will see where it goes.
It's also worth noting that other fansites have taken huge hits too, generally worse than Habbox. Generally Habbox still comes out on top and this is the main thing I aim for as if we're on top if means we've got better chances of succeeding when given the chance. Habbox has improved generally from 2010 to 2011.

bit obsessive that you don't wanna post just cause a member has left. in the 5 years i've been here, i've left/comeback/left/comeback and the forum is always fluxing. it will never die. i've seen people leave who were literally the forefathers of how spam is now (joe/alex/ryan/helen/ross/cassie/jord/clar) and yet it's still carried on, jen came along right when those guys left, and someone will come now and do what jen has done.
i think jen is fab, but she won't be the end of hxf.

I can't believe that people are putting hxf being a tiny bit slower than normal down to Jen leaving. Before Jen left she hadn't been active for months, and so I really can't see how she's lead to the ULTIMATE END OF HXF FOREVER OH NO.
As others have said, hxf has constantly fluctuating activity levels and if every time hxf had a slow week then feedback would be full of threads almost identical to these. Put it down to a busy time in most people's lives (I know personally I've been almost hectically busy in these last 3 weeks) and the incredibly beautiful weather.
