Wow, my girlfriend's avatar has been removed recently... I'm guessing because it had her in it... And frankly, that's pretty ridiculous, here's the image, now imagine how much you could see when it was shrinked to 100 x 100 px, or whatever the size limit is for regular new members.

That was a perfectly decent and reasonable avatar and I have no idea why it got removed as I haven't received a message. No idea what to use as my avatar now!

I previously voted against allowing people to have pics of themselves because of what Matt posted a few pages back. However, I'd also like to see a new poll to see what the majority opinion is now .

Yeah I would because I don't see a massive danger of having it as an avatar or anything.

I think if there was a poll it'd be quite a close result. Personally, I don't see why it needs to be done. I think it can be kinda risky, only two years age someones picture was taken to another fansite and people were making fun of it and eventually I think the police may have been involved. This could easily happen again if there are loads of peoples pictures plastered all over the forum.

I think a poll is necessary, in my opinion I think people should be allowed to have their face as their avatar etc. what different does it really make seeing a picture of them or a picture of a celeb?
