If you look more into that suggestion I meant habbox.com being a platform/launch pad
all of our URLs being directed to habbox.com to begin with and it becomes a launch pad.
Also, with the DJ thing; I just said that some are not likeable... which does happen. I didn't say any DJs in specific, and I'm not the only one that looks to see what DJ is on and chooses whether or not to actually listen in. It's like people don't want to admit that they do that.

Then maybe the suggestion of maybe when you go to habboxforum.com know how we get those messages from admins saying to do a survey or you have a PM. Would doing something like that be more feasible, that way it gives the member an option to go to habbox.com to view the latest article or go directly to the forum.

What so every time you load the forum you have to confirm which page you want

There's already a very simple one click way to get to the main site without pissing everyone off

No, if a new article gets posted, you have that initial prompt saying, "Hey! a new article" blah blah blah and it gives you that option then.
It's a one time, so the only way you'd get another notification when you load the forum is if someone else had posted an article.

also to add; that tab is not on all of the themes

I don't think forcing people to go through Habbox.com will suddenly increase the use of the site, it'll just increase angry posts in Feedback for a while

However I think I see your point - these people replying saying it's fine because you can go to Habbox.com yourself if you want are perfectly correct but surely the point is that no one wants to go to Hx.com?? If I'm honest I haven't visited the site in quite a long time now unless an article I'm actually interested in is linked on the forum, otherwise I completely ignore the site because there is absolutely nothing at all there that interests me in the slightest.

In regards to Gina's OP, I agree they definitely need to be made more obvious on the forum because I'm sure there are some articles that will interest me but I just don't see them because like I said I never visit Hx.com unless I already know there's an article there I wanna see. But if we're not allowed to comment on/discuss them on the forum then I can't be the only one who just won't say anything on them at all? I feel kind of mean saying it but idk it is true because I get nothing out of commenting on an article on Habbox; it doesn't increase my post count or give me tokens to use in the shop and (this is the bit I find important >>) my comment won't start up a discussion (because comments on there are almost always entirely separate and limited to "wow great article haha I loved that bit in the middle!") so I don't get an interesting chat with another user out of it.

I know that sounds selfish but I feel like I can't be the only one sat here being like ?? what's the point for me? I'm here at Habbox for entertainment which is its own reward and I don't find going to another site specifically to comment on an article very entertaining or rewarding at all, therefore I just don't.

yes, going back to the article comments, i think it would look so much better to have no comments on the main site and each article gets a link to a thread to generate discussion.

it does look rather sad when articles only get 1 (if that) comment usually not related and just a pat on the back. helps forum generate content, and helps the articles gain an audience.

@Brad; every time a new article is posted it's tweeted and if you have subscribed to them Martin will PM/VM when there's a new one so there's no real need for their to be a notice for a member every time a new one is posted.

@Martin; do u ever do tv n film articles?

    AHEM
This article shows weird Asian videogames so, inspired by this theme I made a little alteration, you know, with a weird sequence of Asians in a blurry background, just to people look at it and think...
    Jesus it looks weird...

well idk how to make it understandable, i was just experimenting hah

That. That would be helpful and I can see that being a great tool. Would that have to work with having that auto generated posting on the specified section of the forum ? Can something like that be done?

Oh, cool. Then that technically is in place. My bad. Carry on.
