This is what happens when a business fails to respond quickly and sufficiently to a problem, silence is not a response (literally in this case), the mute does nothing but keep highlighting the problem, the protests would have died down by now. It's now bound to be on channel 4 news again tonight as a follow up and rather than giving them something positive to report on it'll be another negative due to the idiotic way the company is handling it. That could cause more investors, sponsors and partners to pull out.

I don't think the mute will go on for weeks, possibly another few days max (surely...). It is true what he says, that it's a very small part of the Habbo community ruining it for everyone, which really sucks! Hope he doesn't end up resigning/being fired, i really like him...

mute will go off today and they'll investigate an appropriate way to deal with the issue no doubt in the coming weeks (i.e. hire mods)
