Didn't read the whole thread because I cba so I don't know what method you're using but using a rune xbow at the metal drags is quite effective. Your range might be too low for irons but you should own bronze drags with emerald bolts (are like 200-300ea). Then all you need is a d drop to cover the costs and get more bolts or a visage for red chins.
