Yeah, the main focus shouldn't be the desk itself but what's going on in the desk. We're putting on 10 days worth of quizzes, yet no ones said "thank you" or "that'll be fun" yet I know a certain someone who will probably turn up to 95% of them. It's just a bit of fun, the staff have been amazingly kind in hosting all these quizzes and they don't get the respect they deserve. I think some people are getting their priorities all wrong!
And for the record, Eurovision gets 9mil in a country of 60mil - Lost gets less than double that (15mil) in a country of 300mil so there is a big difference. I'll agree that Eurovision has a large gay following, especially in the UK but many straight guys do watch it - a lot of my friends do. I know in European countries they take it a lot more seriously than we do, and even more straight guys watch it. Worldwide it gets around 100million viewers. Its a nice amount. If you really want, we'll change it back, we'll keep it as it is and we'll change it for Christmas instead, we won't do the quizzes or anything else we planned and just stick to the two per month. All we're trying to do is a nice thing for our faithful visitors.
