bare with me. i haven't read the thread because it's the same old people (who tend to be rulebreakers) who are complaining.
why do people talk about the rules so much? i think the most important issue that needs to be addressed is the fact IT'S NOT A HELP DESK.
example:
5 people behind the desk. someone asks for help. *silence*. i offer my help.
20 minutes later, one staff asks "why do people complain we never help?". because you DON'T. she then spent ages arguing with me that she was busy helping someone else when evidently she wasn't as there was complete silence. someone else comes in and asks about rare values, i make a sly comment with "there's no point asking the staff" (which i got kicked for lol) and waited for someone to help then.
she couldn't because the staff know NOTHING about helping other habbos with their account or rare values lol. honestly as far as it goes being a helpdesk it's a complete fail. what's the criteria for becoming staff? be nice and active?
it's staff vs members. all the helpdesk is used for is people who use hxf to talk to each other and for staff to abuse their powers. i've also went from warning 1 to one day ban before ¬.¬ that's literally it. there's no help and i doubt it's regular uses who put off new users but the staff.
i don't see why there's still a help desk when there's just complaints and favouritism. someone will come along and try to prove me wrong but helpdesks have been stupid for a long long time and all it's doing, in my view, is giving habbox as a whole a bad reputation. i wonder why there's hardly any new international members..

When I was manager I'd find this alot, I'd wait to see if any of the staff actually behind the desk would answer as I was sick of constantly answering them myself when people behind the desk should be paying extra attention. Then they'd say "well you were helping them and i didnt want to confuse them", which is rubbish cause i waited for a while till i answered
I think some of the users complaining in this thread might be upset that they were disciplined for their behaviours in HxHD. I've counted over 8 screenshots above where users have taken just a fraction of the conversation in attempt to specifically target and make another user or staffmember look bad. If you really expect anyone to deal with this, PLEASE post full room screenshots that show the entire conversation. Otherwise it's pointless. I could show what insults Bob said to Bill, which would make Bob look bad, but maybe Bill threatened Bob first, and with physical violence.

Despite the above I do agree that we really do need to modify and re-emphasize some of our rules to our staffmembers.
At the moment, we are targeting:
- Bullying
- Racial remarks
- Trolling
yet it's this vague definition of trolling that seems to allow us to justify any sort of behaviour as unreasonable.

correct. it's staff area. it shows who they're SUPPOSED to go to for help but whether they receive the help or not is a different story. most of the time, there's no help at all or the help comes from someone else. i'm not attacking because i despise the staff, i rarely play habbo but it's just a general observation. people DO ask but they shouldn't bother, a lot of staff have been on habbo for what? half a year? they don't know anything about habbo at all. they don't treat hxhd for it's purpose, its just to be "higher up" than everyone else in the room. they spend most their time talking to friends and arguing with the rest.I disagree with that, it is a staff area. It shows those who come into the help desk who is staff. They then know who to ask and who will (or should) offer them help. If the 'vip area' as you put it wasn't there, then they wouldn't know who to ask, and may not want to ask a question.
also ben i don't recall staff ever giving help EVER EVER, probably because i got banned over anythingnot saying it's your fault and it's not just hxhd, most help desk staff don't have any knowledge at all ^^
