    Default HxHD Rules

I was replying to the other thread and it gets closed / moved, ******* ridiculous. This isn't really a complaint, more like feedback explaining why the rules need to be changed. I preferred the rules in the past were the staff couldn't kick a clone unless they had evidence it was you. You can hardly kick someone because they 'type' the same or you have 'suspicions' that they are a banned user. I know for a fact that if I was a new user and entered the desk for the first time and randomly got kicked because the staff suspected I was someone else, thats complete and utter ********. Thats like sending someone to jail because you think they killed someone (no I'm not comparing this to murder I'm giving examples)

One other thing I hate is how people get warned for 'trolling' could someone please define trolling because it can easily fall under many different things & explain to me when the rule 'No Trolling' was introduced because its only been happening recently.

    Thanks,
    Rich.

Thread closed by Oli (Forum Manager) as it's escalating from feedback, to complaints to a slanging match - the Help Desk Manager has highlighted here that the rules will be looked into - therefore there's no need for this thread to continue causing arguments between members. Simple solution = fire all hxhd staff and hire new

Default HxHD rules need to be relaxed.

THIS THREAD IS NOT FOR FLAMING OR "TROLLING", IT IS FOR FEEDBACK. IF YOU FEEL THAT THE HELP DESK RULES/WARNING SYSTEM SHOULD BE REFORMED, PLEASE TELL US WHY AND KEEP IT CLEAN.

I think the HxHD should be more changed into a lounge, because the rules at the moment are completely out of the question.

    1. You can't even talk without getting warned for spamming.
    2. The rules and staff are uptight.
    3. Freedom isn't an option.

Now, I'm sure staff will look at this and try to defend their help desk but I and others think otherwise. All you hear about in the help desk is "trolling", and it needs to relax.

I've received warnings for having a conversation and having my own opinion. I witnessed Faboosh spamming earlier and what did HotelUser do, nothing? I think that the warning system and the rules are a problem arising themselves.

Ok, I will. Here you are.

RabRogan4 jumped from one warning to the final. Isn't there 3 warnings? The warning system isn't even practised properly.

RNB.Queen warned me for "spamming" when I was having a conversation. Staff should set examples, not do this...

I think that the staff should set an example, the word "Snotty" isn't acceptable in my opinion, I was just giving him my opinion on the help desk.

Some may see this as a thread to start arguments, I just made it because I think that the truth needs to discussed and that there needs to be some reforms going on. I think HxHD should be converted to a lounge and that the rules should be much more relaxed. I agree, some people DO genuinely swear or abuse, but this is just plain old "banter" as some refer to it.

    Ideas?

Think that they need to lax the rules abit, obvious bullying should really be reported to habbo mods and then they will deal with it. As for 'trolling' there should be a clear definition of what 'trolling' consists of so that staff dont have the excuse "i'm kicking you cause your trolling". I totally agree with the point if a new person walked in and staff assumed they were a banned user then I would get really pissed off and probably not want to visit again, so yes I agree with unless there is hard evidence it is that user then nothing should be done to innocent users

On kicking without proof: Admittedly we've been doing this several times. Fortunately we've only made only one or two errors whilst doing this though I do agree, unless they're causing trouble we could be abit more reasonable here.

On trolling: I do not plan on changing anything when it comes to trolling, because users coming in AND TALKIN LIKE DIS, or spamming the room with fish are scaring off new users. I know this because I'm seeing it happen every day.

I shall, to try and uphold consistency, communicate a reminder to our staffmembers to assure that they are all aware that a user must be warned twice, and then on the third offence banned.

I see where you are coming from Richie. I do agree about the clones, if we are not completely sure then no we shouldn't kick them. With trolling, I myself cannot explain what it means, I just assume it means you are just talking of no relevance?

Oh I saw some of this. I do agree faovurtis is used ALOT. Say someone like oh idk scott is rude in the desk he'd get a warning yet if some other favourtied staff says something they just leave it UNTIL someone actually saying LOOK THEY WERE RUDE. I totally agree that they are used badly a lot and not used properly until pointed out

If people are talking like "like dis" and I can't think of any other words but I'm sure some people can help me out here, I don't think that is breaking the rules at all. They are typing on how they want to type. If they are being rude or whatever, then that's when something should be done about that.

Talking in a way isn't keeping new users there, kicking those people is basically saying 'I find you annoying, so i'm going to kick you' you have no reason what so ever to kick them from the room
