also to add to the "busy" period, we're just about to hit exam season SATs/GCSES/A/S levels/uni exams.I can't believe that people are putting hxf being a tiny bit slower than normal down to Jen leaving. Before Jen left she hadn't been active for months, and so I really can't see how she's lead to the ULTIMATE END OF HXF FOREVER OH NO.
As others have said, hxf has constantly fluctuating activity levels and if every time hxf had a slow week then feedback would be full of threads almost identical to these. Put it down to a busy time in most people's lives (I know personally I've been almost hectically busy in these last 3 weeks) and the incredibly beautiful weather.
That post just came across very rude to the competitions and events departments. They've been working their ass off to provide about 5-10 events a day and several competitions and you expect them to do more like that and make the forum become extremely popular overnight.I have noticed a huge lack of posts in the last few weeks on this forum.
At 23:53 on 30 March 2011, HabboxForum has 6,660,915 posts. So if we take 31st March - 10th April, its 11 whole days. Right now the forum has 6,673,488 posts.
On average that is 1,143 posts a day which is a lot lower than what it used to be.
Things such as Habbo Events/Quizzes should be taking place regularly to avoid this.
over and out
I think you're only posting this because spam is going slow even though all the other forums are fine. Just get used to it I suppose.
She's actually posting it because saurav told her to
Yes, don't mention the wording of the post to Sharon, she actually asked if I'd remove this thread but I asked her if it'd be ok to leave it as these kinda threads usually generate good ideas![]()

If the departure of any group of members will cripple HabboxForum, we might as well shut the forum now.
It's a community, hence a lot of different people. The departure of one person, or a group, might be sad and drastically change the dynamic, but unless its like 25-50% of the forum leaving and influxes pretty much stopped, life will go on, and the dynamic will continue to change around.
It costs nothing to be a good friend.

Calvin what ARE you on about I was reffering to events such as Forum Takeover ...
(edit revolved with Calv on MSN)
Hey Forum should do a few quick forum quizzes for easter or something

Yes and the Help Desk takeover still happens every month :S There are plenty of events going on on Habbo, the forum doesn't need to be doing them on there all the time. It's not as if the forum doesn't have a presence on Habbo, I'm in the Help Desk a fair bit nowadays and often talk about the forum with people and I'm there to answer any forum related questions if need be. There are smods and mods that also use Habbo so it's not as if it's just on there either.
Even though we had a good week of downtime in March, on March 18th we had the highest number of posts in one day since the start of 2011. This was the day that V6 was released and also around the time that the forum had come back from it's long week of downtime. To me that is something really positive and it was nice to see a huge surge of posts like that, it actually shows just how popular the forum is and how much people missed it. Posts have decreased since then but they have been quite consistent each day. The weekend just gone posts did make a small drop but I can only put that down to the weather to be honest because it's been absolutely lovely, that was just Friday and Saturday, yesterday posts went back up to what they have been normally for the past few weeks. It is a very busy time for people at the moment and as Oli has shown in his little calender, things do pick up after June once everyone has finished school and their exams, it's common sense to know that....
But heyho, what do I know? I just copy what everyone else says init
Sorry to miss this bit but you edited after I quoted. I was hoping to do a quick quiz soon as the normal plan is to do them every 2 weeks, but with the easter eggstravaganza being on that is more important to advertise as it's a bigger event so I will be making a notice for that instead. It looks really ugly having 2 notices up at the top and the quick quiz one is normally quite big.Hey Forum should do a few quick forum quizzes for easter or something
The Forum do have Easter plans though that will be starting on Sunday![]()
