BUILD: Windows 8 (Developer Preview)

Now home at last, so I can install it on one of my other hard drives and have a play around! =]

I notice it has a high crash rate if you try to log off or shut down / reboot.

Aha! Just figured out how to do Hybrid Boot. It's amazingly quick.

Might just have to try this out on my old Toshiba L300, a laptop that runs 7 decently enough... will download it overnight, though chances are VM's lovely router will disconnect me long before that.

it was starting up really slow on my laptop but after turning off hybrid boot then turning it back on wow it's fast. Might use it as the main os on my lil laptop

It doesn't support most of the applications in Windows 7, mainly. Plus I'm not a developer. Mainly because I ****** up installing it, instead of it being on a separate partition it is on the same, over 7.

It's bound to probably have compatibility problems being in Beta. You should never download a Beta operating system if your unsure of what your doing as its mainly for developers and will probably have some problems, bugs etc. I only downloaded the Beta of Windows 7 when I had a second really old computer. Probably won't touch Windows 8 as I can't risk anything happening to this computer (use it daily for business)
