about 9. Although my auntie is a strict christian and tells her kids that santa isn't real, she'd rather them know the importance of us having gifts like jesus did than tell them a lie

I was told when I was 12 so I already knew. My dad told me in like September and I had to play along and pretend to be sad because if he knew I was pretending to believe when he was buying extra presents he wouldn't be a very happy camper. So yeah, I was pretending to be sad and he said "It's okay, the worst it yet to come, after Christmas we're going to tell you about the Easter Bunny" and walked out.
