what age did your mum tell u santa weren't real

pmsl once i walked in on her wrappin presents when i was like 8 but she told me in year 6 i was devestated,

ever since xmas has never been the same, not been excited like i was then

Don't think I was ever told really, it's just one of those things that you grow up to realise same as tooth fairy etc

My mum didn't tell me, my primary school teacher did haha. She randomly blurted it out in a lesson just before the end of term one year and it led to lots of questions and I think she got fed up of lieing haha.

I sussed it out when I was around 11 when I noticed my mums handwriting was magically the same as santa's.

I never got told by my family. I just grew out of it. I think I really understood when I watched a movie which said it..

I found out Santa wasn't real when I was like 10 or something. One of my teeth had fallen out so I put it under my pillow for the tooth fairy during the evening, then I went and had a bath. When I got out of the bath I went to check on my tooth but it had been taken and the 'tooth fairy' had already left some money there. I was all like the tooth fairy only comes at night, what is this witchery. Then I realised it must have been my dad and I put two and two together and realised Santa probably isn't real either.

I'm pretty sure that once you get to a certain age there is no spirit at all that santa is 'true'

I do however think its nice for the kids and it does add a bit of magic to christmas and he looks good on cards and ting

i dunno, can't remember. so i guess it was pretty early. my mum told me that i told my sister santa wasn't real when she was young though. lol, was a ******** from such a young age:dance:

I don't think I've really ever properly believed in Santa. As far as I can remember I've just asked my Mum what I'm getting for Christmas and not from Santa.
