I don't get the whole stigma behind mcdonalds workers. Do you take the mickey out of the supermarket workers? How about barmen? They're all doing the same job; in fact I'd wager working in a popular McDonalds restaurant would be far more difficult than working the till at a supermarket.

Plus I do have experience at working in this selling stuff thing which is pretty big and important here in Portugal. Idk how to explain with more detail what it is, but it happens once a year, and just by working a few hours, srsly that was easy money and even had time to practise my english, french and spanish with the tourists while doing it. Also my CV is already pretty good for my age, so with all that, I'm not worried about not finding a part time job and it's not like I'll work my ass of to look for one anyway.
im not that bad at math, i thought you put 16 not 18.
well good luck for when you turn 18 just being given a job that you want.

McDonalds is a fine place to work if you can get on with the atmosphere.
I think for my first job I don't want anything to do with preparing food and cooking etc. as I don't feel safe with kitchen utensils
I'd rather go somewhere like Tesco, or a local newsagents in order to get experience in an actual workplace

people know me because of that shower thing one time and I do not regret anything

upon further review I feel a rather mild regret is warranted

Right, i have only read up to page 2 because people are writig paragraphs and its late an frankly i cba to read through anymore. Mcdonalds has a BRILLIANT working oppourtunity, they offer alot of qualifications and other experience. My cousin works there and hes 24 and alot of my friends do who are 21-25 tbh everytime i go in they are glad to see me, i always ask if they are embarrased by their job but at the end of the day its a good paying job and works around your education schedule. Tbh i work in a nightclub and i feel embarrased when my friends come in smashed although i love my job i wish it had more benefits like mcdonalds.
