This, 18+ rooms are like a cancer! It's not just the guys, the girls who go in there bragging about sleeping with people and telling people stories that no one wants to hear and the only reason they are being listened to is because the might send some guy who listens nudes.I'm 23 and I've been using Habbo since 2002. Generally I just build my rooms or try to speak and hang with people of a similar age/ mindset. Nothing against the youngers personally, I just don't have anything in common with them.
Unfortunately I don't feel I can go in 18+ rooms regularly anymore. They were ok but now appear to mostly be full of people who just lie a lot on the internet. All you get is people talking about how much weed they smoke or how much weight they lift or lads getting really creepy, pervy and cringey over females again and again and again and again. It is a shame!
It's cringe worthy to think these people are 18+! Its a bit embarrassing when you're in their bragging about your Habbo relationships or Habbo boyfriend/girlfriend!

I'm almost certain that 75% of those people are kids pretending to be 18+, thinking that's how older teens or adults act. This, 18+ rooms are like a cancer! Ughhhhh same well even more because I'm like 70 and wrinkled obv. So weird looking back at what I used to be like (and recognising a lot of the behaviours I've been a part of from both ScAnDaLoUZ*+ and I'm-So-Above-It camps even in other people just in this thread) but 4real I haven't slept in so lon
@Brawl; just read the first post and I hate how you've made me realize that I am actually an adult (what society considers an adult to be to be honest haha) and still play Habbo...
Joined when I was like 10-11?, my mother's boyfriend's niece told me about it but my first Habbo Hotel was habbo.com.br because at the time I could barely speak English haha. I remember I didn't like how Brazilian people talked/typed so I mostly only played Battle Ball because I failed at Snow Storm lol. Quit soon after and in a boring summer when I was 13, from the math done just now. Honestly, didn't think it was that long ago, doesn't seem like that long ago, I remember joining habbo.com when I decided to come back because I so desperately wanted to play Battle Ball again, but then it was gone and I felt so sad and wanted to quit again but the addiction bug and the fact everything was so different maybe me stick around.
First year was to focus on my Harry Potter addiction so joined `H`ogwarts, reached Year 7 with numerous characters, etc. Got annoyed of Hogwarts and decided to try `D`urmstrang, in the summer of 2014 I believe. Met great friends there that I still talk to now, but was young, naive and honestly stupid blah blah erased those years of my life haha. January of 2012 my best Habbo friends quits, I quit a few weeks later and spend a great time focusing on real life. Summer of 2012 I was bored again so decided to come back to Habbo and I don't remember how found Habbox. Not really found it because I had an old account from the previous summer, when I had joined the site to try my luck in a competition, the type that used to exist in the main site.
I liked the forums, liked most of the people and wanted a job in the HxHD so bad because I love helping people, I'm studying International Hospitality and Tourism Management so I will basically help people and be ready to talk to them at any time, and I do love doing it. At the time HxHD applications were closed so I sticked around.
All through high school I was an active member of Habbo. My family obviously found out, never really admited it in real life but some of my closest friends new too and made some fun about it but never bothered me or anything, didn't really care. Need to point out that I kept having a normal life though, would still have lunch with my friends and go out at night, everything, but only had classes in the morning so had lots of free time haha.
Last September I moved to Scotland for university and the wifi there wouldn't allow me on the client, so had to give up and quit. Now I am finally 18 and last month I decided to join again because I wanted a reason not to study for my university exams haha. Since then I kept coming online and got two roles. I don't come online every single day and stay here every single hour like I used to anymore, no. I pop up a few times to fill my job obligations, to talk to friends, build rooms, etc, I now have twice as many friendships to handle in real life as well so not much time left lol.
This said, when I was 14 I used to have a friend on Habbo who was 11 years older than me and we joked once, twice and that was it, she was nice that's all that matters and she still pops up once in a while. Don't really care about older people as long as they are not creepy or anything. Habbo is not for 13 years older anymore, in my opinion. The gamers are getting older I know way more people who are older than me (and remember that I am 18) than younger ones. Yes the younger ones are more active but still, don't think people have a problem with it, much less in Habbox where I feel like a toddler haha.
(Oh God, was in the mood to write my biography LOL)
