Aye, let's adopt an immigration policy like Australia's. Let immigrants rot in boats off shore while being the biggest hypocrits in the world, considering the fact that Australia's history essentially began with mass immigration.

No, I'm not trying to claim that they're all innocent. Maybe consider that they come here because they can speak English? Pretty sure more immigrants speak English than German or Spanish. All I'm saying is that many immigrants don't come into the country wanting to sponge off the taxpayer and cause trouble, and that many do want to work to improve their lives. Doesn't that fit in with the Conservative principle of getting off your backside and doing something to better your position. Or doesn't that apply to people from other countries?

They don't rot in boats, do you know what happens in Austrialia?, if immigrants manage the hard task of sneaking in Austrialia, border control will turn them away or send them back.

I welcome people who will work, a lot of Poles work very hard but others just take drugs and commit crimes and we still keep them here.

The reason they immigrate to the UK and mainly cities like London is because they hear about it where they live and we keep going to film in places like that. They come to England because they have learnt english instead of some other language like French or Spanish. Why is it the UK has around the same population as france and yet they have double the amount of land? How come a lot of the immigrants living here complain about the benifits they are getting? Because they want to live like people who have a good reputation and high paying jobs without working. Once they are here they get what they came for and see everyone else has more so they just get greedy. If their countries had done well for themselves in the past they wouldn't be flying around the world looking for a better place to live. There are TV shows about moving house and finding a place to live somewhere else other than Britain. Many parts of spain now have a large population of british people living there. We no longer like our country. In my class I'm one of only about 10 that were born in Britain and probably the only one with British blood.

They don't come here because they can speak our language :rolleyes: Most come here for benefits.

Spain don't mind because the majority of British people work, so they will accept you.

What's happening to our country is that all the clever people with money are moving, and we're letting all these immigrants in, some can't even speak english.

British blood? Like that exists. You say those countries should have "done well for themselves". Many of the same countries were colonised by Britain, exploited for slavery and cheap goods and therefore crippled by debt. So we have nothing to do with the situation that they're in?

If we didn't colonise them, Zimbarbwe wouldn't of been the bread basket of Africa - Look what's happend to that since we let them govern themselves. South Africa was also built up by us, and since we left AIDS & HIV has spread rapidly and crime is shooting through the roof.

people talk about immigration like it should stop. it should, but we need other colored people in england apart from white. you want to stop immigration? 1. go back in time and stop the slave trade. 2. make other countrys more wealthy. 3. give homeless people in other countrys somewhere to sleep. THERE YOU GO! no more immigration on the BBC the other night, most immigrants are actually white polish. so hmm, dont blame it on africans and south asian people.

Why should we give them beds to sleep in?, they have survived thousands of years without this and if they want our help so much, why did they kick us out after we built their countrys up?

On the subject of immigration, I'm not going to directly reference anyone in this thread at the moment because I can't be bothered and I'm going to be pretty general anyway instead of addressing just some people.

Calling for a halt or a lessening in immigration is not the same thing as racism. Yes, I'm fully aware that many immigrants are coming here from crap countries because they want the opportunity to do well, and this country hands out such opportunities. However, thinking about it logically, you say that they lead poor lives and so we should help them - what about the people already in the country leading poor quality lives? The homeless of Britain are, in my opinion, a much greater problem than the oppressed or starving of the Third World. Not because they're here and I'm racist, but for the following of reasons:

I personally don't care if some family in Africa is dying through dehydration or whatever, simply because that's the sort of person I am. However, what I can do is account for that by saying that if you are the sort who wants England to help them, we would surely be better equipped and so better able to help if we were more stable ourselves. At the moment we give little amounts that we deem expendable, yet if we used those expendable amounts to help the homeless in our own country we would be able to give much more money and attention overseas.
We need to sort ourselves out before we try being world heroes.

I didn't specify how I'm racist, and you'll say it won't make it any better, but that's your problem to accept, not mine.

Friends, as a group, make jokes about certain subjects, because of 1 area which me and my friends do make jokes among each other, that is what classes me as a racist. We don't do it out of seriousness, we do it to make each other laugh.

Are you perfect, Sway? Do you accept all homosexuals, all ethnicities, all ages, all disabilities and can say to them with ease that you respect them?

Until you're perfect, you can shove any judgment you've made of me right up there. Because you're no better than me, I'm no better than you.

In answer to your reputation comment, No, I wouldn't say or do anything if a random black (quoted) person walked down the street. Does this make me a coward? No, because I do actually respect black people. I respect they are usually better physical specimens than traditional white people, I respect they might have a better mind on them than myself, I respect they have as much right to be in the same country as me.
I take the mick out of myself too, but I still have self-respect. I imagine you take the mick out of something/one, but deep down inside you have respect for them.

So, there's your answer. And I won't coward away and say it in a revenge rep.

serious or not, that does not justify the fact that you are racist.

and what i was saying is that evrybodys saying we dont want immagrints but we do need the legal working kind. it opens kids minds. it makes areas that have been all one race (e.g. asian) more multicultural. people who are used to say, all white need these people to open thigns up. i dont want immagrints as much as you dont. but the legal kind who come here to earn a living and the right to a good life im fine with. what we dont need is the korean, polish and the people who buy a flat, get say 12 illegal immagrints living in it and get them working/stealing/doing drugs.

one country cannot be one or two races. we need others as much as we need what we had.
