Different doesn't mean worse. Imagine this.

You live in an extremely poor country where you're a devoted husband and a father of two (for example). Lack of work/pay means your family is drinking contaminated water and going without sufficient food. You make the sacrifice of leaving your family to go to a foreign country indefinitely, simply to allow them to live a semi-normal life. You arrive in this country, get round the language barrier and manage to get yourself a job. You get up in the morning, go to work, get home, go to bed, and repeat this process pretty much every day of the week. You then get old toffs looking at you like your dog dirt and mindless drunks telling you to "go home".

Just think about that instead of presuming that everyone who enters this country does so illegally and procedes to detinate a bomb in the middle of a city.

That is the working immigrants, the majority don't work and just sponge off us, so overall we'd be better off if there was never any immigration.

"The majority"? On which statistics do you base that claim? You're being rather vague. I presume by "sponge off us" you mean through benefits? I can't see what else you'd mean, unless you're protesting against their right to use public services as a result of paying taxes? Presuming you mean benefits, there are systems in place you know. I doubt that "the majority" of immigrants would come to the country with the knowledge of exactly how to deceive the government and trick the benefits system, nor that they'd have any intention of doing so.

Aye, let's adopt an immigration policy like Australia's. Let immigrants rot in boats off shore while being the biggest hypocrits in the world, considering the fact that Australia's history essentially began with mass immigration.

No, I'm not trying to claim that they're all innocent. Maybe consider that they come here because they can speak English? Pretty sure more immigrants speak English than German or Spanish. All I'm saying is that many immigrants don't come into the country wanting to sponge off the taxpayer and cause trouble, and that many do want to work to improve their lives. Doesn't that fit in with the Conservative principle of getting off your backside and doing something to better your position. Or doesn't that apply to people from other countries?

They come to England because they have learnt english instead of some other language like French or Spanish. Why is it the UK has around the same population as france and yet they have double the amount of land? How come a lot of the immigrants living here complain about the benifits they are getting? Because they want to live like people who have a good reputation and high paying jobs without working. Once they are here they get what they came for and see everyone else has more so they just get greedy. If their countries had done well for themselves in the past they wouldn't be flying around the world looking for a better place to live. There are TV shows about moving house and finding a place to live somewhere else other than Britain. Many parts of spain now have a large population of british people living there. We no longer like our country. In my class I'm one of only about 10 that were born in Britain and probably the only one with British blood.

British blood? Like that exists. You say those countries should have "done well for themselves". Many of the same countries were colonised by Britain, exploited for slavery and cheap goods and therefore crippled by debt. So we have nothing to do with the situation that they're in?

Hmm, I would class my self of bit of a racist, as i think the government has made me the way I am. I think the fact of imigration has played a big role in the way people think, and maybe if there wasn't as many imigrants and illegal people coming in it wouldn't be as bad. - Just a thought.

AU is the best for imigration, as you have to have a certain amount of money before you go and have to be in a trade/good profession.

Plus we give out to many benefits.

people talk about immigration like it should stop. it should, but we need other colored people in england apart from white. you want to stop immigration? 1. go back in time and stop the slave trade. 2. make other countrys more wealthy. 3. give homeless people in other countrys somewhere to sleep. THERE YOU GO! no more immigration on the BBC the other night, most immigrants are actually white polish. so hmm, dont blame it on africans and south asian people.
