As for the worst movie I've seen: Epic Movie. I was like "LOL" when I saw it, but then I was like "...What?" after it.

When it comes to which film is the worse/best it breaks into matter of opinion.
Some think JAWS is a masterpiece, others think it is absolutely terrible.

And I agree with Tom, there's a wide difference between planning and product.

As stated you could do something down to the smallest part to perfection yet it might still be absolutely crap.

Adam, you're very knowledgeable when it comes to cinematography, but you can't force your opinions into others. Some people might not like JAWS, but you think it's a master piece.

Misawa if it makes you feel better I think Jaws is good, the characters just lack depth and it gets pretty boring when scenes aren't involving the shark because it can't have consistent suspense.
