I think some of the courts are stupid in these situations, fining her isn't gonna help anyone, it means she'll be in a worse situation than she is now and will probably resort back to crime. You'd think they'd offer some rehabilitation or something to try and help. Saying that i don't know all the circumstances and past convictions and all that rubbish.
I feel sorry for anyone who has to resort to a crime like this, her situation must be pretty bad.

It's the principle of it all. She only made £10 as she's a bad con artist but never the less she's a con artist who did a disgusting thing of pretending to collect charity for a dead baby who suffered a tradgic death. If she was smart enough to actually go asking for charity in a decent posh area that is not for chavs then she probably would have made quite alot.
