I have an extremely enjoyable life, thanks. You can't seem to understand that the VAST MAJORITY of the public despise Emmerich's films. Anyone who likes an Emmerich film is in the minority. I'm backing up what most people think about Roland. Attacking someone's life is pretty pathetic, and is usually the sign of someone without one.

Well I'm afraid to tell you that I am not wrong. Of course people enjoy it, but it's the majority who disagree in Emmerich's case. I am talking purely in Emmeric's case here, and in Michael Bay's, who was mentioned earlier.

Go and take a look at Troll 2, it's been called the worst film ever made. While I disagree, I know it is one of the worst, poorly made, yet I still have a soft spot for it.

I am a professional critic, so it pretty much is a hit against me, isn't it.

I'm sorry but I too have never heard of people not liking his films. In any case, the publi don't tend to judge films based on the director. I wouldn't have known who the director was if it wasn't for the ad that said from the director of TDAT etc.

This forum represents the public and from what I see they liked it.

His name doesn't need to be known - it's the films.

Since about 10 people have written their opinions, they mean nothing in the grand scale of things. Have you even seen the film? I had the displeasure of doing so, and take away the special effects and it is just an array of pointless scenes. THAT is not film-making, and the majority of people agree.

Most professional film critics are film school rejects. I just happen to be both a professional film critic and a professional film-maker.

Since people keep mentioning it, I urge anyone to make a thread or comment here about constructive negativity towards Inglourious *******s, and I will happily discuss what they have to say.

Agree with this, film was just load of special effects.

I'm going to see Law Abiding Citizen next week, i hope its better than 2012.

Professional film critic, and professional film-maker? You must be doing well for yourself, can you link me to some of your reviews/films.

Seriously Terrible Film - 158 minutes too long.
If you have seen Independence day, Day after Tomorrow, War of the Worlds and or Deep Impact then you have already seen this film 4 times.

From what i know those films bar 10,000B.C were very successful this does not mean they had good reviews. I personally hate critics for this, not just for films but for games aswell. they don't go to try and enjoy a film they go deliberatley to find problems with it and this infuriates me. I'll take a game as my main example GTA4 got 10/10 from allmost all reviews. yes it was a good story line and yes it was realistic but it was missing a fundlemntal part of games FUN.

Ofcource a movie needs storyline but if thats all it has then it's not enjoyable.

anyway what i'm trying to get at are the films that he has directed are very enjoyable to watch i don't care what a pompus critic that can't enjoy life thinks. go by THE GENERAL PUBLICS viw rather than someone that was born to hate.

Sorry about my rant i just thought it had to be said
They were all popular and successful films it's just that Misawa's jealously is seeping through. He couldn't make a better film and he knows it.
