Ah ok, I think I misunderstood you although there will always be people who dislike black people, White people , gays, people of different religions however I think it's unfair
that gay people don't have the same rights as everyone else. If black people or White people were only allowed to have civil mariges and not get fully married there would be outrage. I think eventually it will just be a part or everyday life and more accepted like how black people are accepted In England now and it's comon for interacial marriages now.

Yes, they are against homosexual people.

I just checked out the sexuality poll which has had a lot of people voting and it turns out 40% of the forum is either gay or bisexual. Now I'm sure you will all agree that 40% is ALOT of people. Most of the other forums I go on including forums like Raptorforum.com and mac-forums.com don't seem to have any gay people at all. I know it's understandable that on a teen forum a lot of people will be confused and trying out different sexualities with all the hormones, especially with all these things that promote being gay in the modern world but 40% still seems a lot. I need to be careful about what I say or otherwise nearly half of the forum could be against me. I have nothing against gay people, I completely disagree with it all and that but it's up to you how you live your lives and I have no problem with that, as long as gay people don't "bother" me it's all fine. I still don't think there would be anywhere near as many gay people if parents would tell their children from a young age that it is wrong and with all the media and people such as Lady Gaga who actually promotes being gay, and all these gay couples on tv, I've also found that some people use being gay to get more attention online.

So what do you think about 40% of the forum being gay? I'd love to here everyones opinions no matter what sexuality you are. I'm not having a rant at gay people or anything just voicing my opinion in the least offensive way as this can often be quite a sensitive topic for some people.

Please don't move this thread, I feel that with it being such a wide-spread topic it is better suited here.

Yes, parents have an immense influence on the development of their child's mind, however I do not believe they have the capabilities of modifying their child's romantic and sexual desires; that's quite absurd. During and preceding the 20th century homosexuality was on the disease list, and it was frowned upon by most parents yet people were still coming out as homosexuals, only then there was more depression and suicides amongst the non straights because they weren't accepted by their families. You should really learn about the plot in Prayers for Bobby.

I will argue to the grave pro God. However organized religion save for the social experience is a complete, utter and absolute load of crap because of its power hungry, murderous history, and ignorant, sexist, racist, homophobic believes. Using organized religion or the gist of its beliefs to argue against homosexuality (hell--using it to argue against anything) is one of the stupidest things you can do. Do you realize how many old white Catholic priest males rape children, and male children?

The only problem I have with any aspect of homosexuality is certain individuals (certainly not everyone) who flaunt their sexuality in your face. People (mostly males) who do that are the reason why homosexuality is frowned upon these days, and why it's so difficult for males to come out as gay. It's also put heterosexual males in fear of being portrayed as gay because of how they behave due to this stereotype of a gay male being incredibly camp.

Yes I was originally going to post it in there but I thought it would get a larger response in this section, especially with it being such a wide spread topic that can lead on to anything. It wouldn't of really looked out of place in the Forum Feedback section either with it being a discussion based around the forum itself.
