Default 40% of the forum is gay

I just checked out the sexuality poll which has had a lot of people voting and it turns out 40% of the forum is either gay or bisexual. Now I'm sure you will all agree that 40% is ALOT of people. Most of the other forums I go on including forums like Raptorforum.com and mac-forums.com don't seem to have any gay people at all. I know it's understandable that on a teen forum a lot of people will be confused and trying out different sexualities with all the hormones, especially with all these things that promote being gay in the modern world but 40% still seems a lot. I need to be careful about what I say or otherwise nearly half of the forum could be against me. I have nothing against gay people, I completely disagree with it all and that but it's up to you how you live your lives and I have no problem with that, as long as gay people don't "bother" me it's all fine. I still don't think there would be anywhere near as many gay people if parents would tell their children from a young age that it is wrong and with all the media and people such as Lady Gaga who actually promotes being gay, and all these gay couples on tv, I've also found that some people use being gay to get more attention online.

So what do you think about 40% of the forum being gay? I'd love to here everyones opinions no matter what sexuality you are. I'm not having a rant at gay people or anything just voicing my opinion in the least offensive way as this can often be quite a sensitive topic for some people.

Please don't move this thread, I feel that with it being such a wide-spread topic it is better suited here.

Maybe its Habbo thats turns us all gay eh? I think its just a coincidence really as its not as if we advertise for gays only etc and as Muct did say we are a massive forum and community so it doesn't matter what we are or what we believe in!

I thought that was a high percentage aswell, Like in my year group, well I've left now but there was only one boy who was openly gay and no girls were either and there was only one bisexual person. I think because this forum has quite a lot of people still going through puberty, so this may confuse them. Not trying to be offence btw, i'm just saying that some people may be confused and I doubt 40% of this forum is actually that. I'd imagine it to be around 20%. But obviously this is mainly a habbo forum (not sterotyping) but that game can attract gay people and it also attracts younger people hence why more people are going through puberty and are confused... But also because this is the internet, a lot of people will come out because there will be no consequences (such as bullying etc) to them in real life, and a lot of people over the internet are more understanding. So in a sence, it doesn't suprise me that much. Not that there is wrong with anything being gay btw, I have nothing against it.

well done sir, you win the full of **** badge.

why should parents tell thier children being gay is wrong from a young age? that's absolute ********.
for one, being gay isn't wrong. and besides, the children that are gay are gunna feel well **** when it comes to realising that they are and having to tell them, because they've been told it's wrong all thier life.

I disagree with everything except that a lot of people do it for attention, for example the quote below me

    Funner, how?

People can be whatever they want, aslong as they dont do it to try and be funny (because that's so damn annoying), and/or fit in.

I also hate it when people always go on about there sexual preferences. Like boasting about being gay/starught/whatever. No one cares lol

i don't expect anyone over the age of 60 to have the opinion that gays shouldn't be on television.
that's just like 'i don't mind it unless i have to see it'. why? i bet you don't give a **** who you're kissing a girl in front of?
gay people don't kick off about that because they're not *****.

if you're making something like a soap & you're trying to be somewhat realistic, then there's going to be gay people in it.
and if you're talking about presenters & comedians, they still worked there way to the top like everyone else.
and know how they got there? because people like them, and not everyone's as much of a *REMOVED* as you.

god, you've annoyed me you *REMOVED*
