Videos with swearing

Considering some swearing is tolerated in videos with the warning spoiler, I don't see why the N word should be noted as one which can never be posted. It makes sense in a way if it's a Lil Jon song with him just shouting I AIN'T SCARED OF NO ****** over and over for 3 minutes but disallowing it on grounds of racism is ridiculous, considering it's almost never used in a racist way. Most videos I've posted have the N word because that's the sort of music I listen to, and I can't see a problem with that. There is a difference between Nas' "be a ****** too" which is about equality/love and a video of some fat old man screaming about how he hates negro folk.

Yeh most like rap songs are from black people (well good rap) and they often use the N word, obviously they're not using it in an insulting manner as they're black themself...

Also no-one on the forum is going to take offence of a rapper using the N word anyways

No its isn't - just because some young members swear doesn't mean that it should be allowed as the majority of them don't even use the filter on here. What are the advantages of being allowed it? Mild swearing is allowed so what's wrong with that?

Can't use habbo fansite since habbo allows swearing tbh. We're not asking for a complete unfilter though

Also it has a warning on it before you watch it, unlike TV where u might go on it by accident and then hear all sorts of things.

Advantages? Well we dont keep getting threads like this, people can post what they want. Etc.

Yeah they're lenient, but they can be better. Cant just say "oh its good enough, no need to change anything else" thats just rather lazy

This thread is about VIDEOS, **** all to do with the filter? at no point in this thread was it the idea to remove or reduce the filter. 'Video' is even in the thread title for **** sake

Look, it's not difficult to decipher which videos are appropriate for a forum like this and what aren't. A Lil Jon song with the F word in every line is obviously totally unacceptable and shouldn't be posted at all, but something like a clip from The Mighty Boosh or Little Britain or something where only one or two swearwords in it is fine as long as it contains an appropriate warning.

It's not difficult to follow an etiquette like that and like Oli said, a vast majority of the users of this forum have managed it so far, so I don't see what all the fuss is about :S
