Damn, doesn't anyone here read Claymore? No one to discuss it with.

I always go buy Anime then manga. if i enjoy the anime then i check out the manga. unless its a manga thats been suggested to me. anyway might buy claymore when i catch up on DGM.

Takamura was awesome shame he had to spoil it at the end with his mass reproduction , the ending tho was good but to big of a cliff hanger tbh. now i want to see the 3rd series badly.

Might read the manga. but ive seen people say it gets a bit repetitive later on.

Takamura was indeed badass. I love how he completely dominated Hawk in the end, dodging his punch then slamming a left right into his face. Then he pummeled him against the ropes - hell yeah! The Takamura statues and Itagaki's family were priceless. Poor Aoki though. I feel so sorry for the guy, haha. Hajime no Ippo is actually REALLY funny.

I want to read the manga as well but it just won't be the same. If I do read it I'll want to read it from the beginning as well, and that means I'll have a lot to catch up. :eusa_wall

As a whole. i liked the 1st season because ippo was training and climing up.
where as the 2nd it was just defending and takamaru's fight

Tho best end of season fight.. Takamaru>Ippo. His fight as just better

I feel the same way but I liked that New Challenger changed the pace. The only thing I didn't like in New Challenger was that they changed Kumi's seiyu. Although I guess shes only in like one episode so it doesn't really matter. That's the problem with a 26 episode series, not enough time to focus on each character. By the way, don't forget Miyata and Date's fights. It wasn't just Ippo defending and Takamura vs Hawk. Ippo doesn't really get much focus in New Challenger now that I think about it.

One thing that bugged me in both seasons was that Ippo never used

Vorg's gloves! I was hoping he would use them to beat Sendo or something but they're never mentioned again after he receives them.

And im watching the lastest FMA ep and im sure i hear Near's VA. well it sounds like near anyway. dosent say anything on wiki tho.

Up to Episode 12 of Claymore now. I'm really enjoying this and keep wanting to watch more... I must limit myself as to now finish the series so soon.

After this, I think I'm going to watch Ergo Proxy or D.gray-man.
