No, sounds like your envy to be perfectly honest.

I have zero jealousy of Roland Emmerich, thank you very much. I worked on a film that is most likely going to steal the Academy Awards. I'd rather have that honour than to have directed some incredulous tripe like 2012. You couldn't be more wrong.

    Erm, yes it does :S.

@Adzfilmaker: Fact is, my sir, that you did crap all the contribute to the film as you yourself said you're not included in the credits. Jesus, they couldn't of done the film without you. They'd just hire another stable boy to do the work that you did.

Like I said, when you make a fantastic film, I will dismiss everything I have said about you; accept that I was wrong and congratulate you. But considering that day has not been nor, probably, will it come - I will continue to bring you to reality when it comes to films. A good film will make money and a good film will be popular. Whether YOU like it or not, The Day After Tomorrow and Independance Day made a lot of money and they were both popular. WHETHER YOU LIKE IT OR NOT!

    Just watched it

It was amazing! Must see for The day after tomorrow fans, or for any disaster fan for that matter.

Ignor the critics, they seem to hate every film.. *Cough*

Yes, they could have hired anybody, in fact it was luck that I was hired in the first place, as I have previously stated, as I was visiting the set as per an invite, but that doesn't change the fact that I am more proud of having a job of a likely Academy Award-winning film than I could ever be had I made 2012. Emmerich will never win an Oscar.

"Bring me to reality" on films? - Hah, you don't have a clue what you're talking about or seem to know who you are talking to.

I have already said that his films have been box office successes. You cannot seem to comprehend the vast difference that is box office success and critical success. And I'm not talking about professional critics, I'm talking about the public. If you had any idea of the spectrum of appreciation for any of Emmerich's films, you'd actually have said a single constructive thing in this thread, but the fact remains that you haven't, and are talking absolute drivel, I'm afraid. You are unable to win a film-related debate with me. Your futile and belligerent nonsense is pretty funny.

Epic Movie was box office king when it was released yet everybody hated it. You need a long lesson in film, but I'd fear it would last until the end of time.

Good luck with life if that's your philosophy. Example of why popular doesn't = better: Nazis.

We're on about films here, not WW1.

Not really, it's called a fact. That statement alone cannot be used by anyone in any situation without being those things I previously stated. Here's the demeaning nature of yourself again, I'm 18, I've finished school, thank you very much.

I'll leave it at that - want to continue? I'm more than happy to do so, but by PM and not ruining this thread on a good film.

I'd rather not waste my time - I'm busy enjoying a well-made film without dumb dialogue, CGI, bad acting and pointless scenes, but thanks for the offer.
