Ive done it once, and its rather suckish really. That was about a year ago so yeah, its quite boring really. You cant do anything so whats the point in it? Seems more like a excuse to say "zomgz i have a girlfriend and u havent", 'accidentally' forgetting to mention that she probably lives 100 miles away from you.

I have been in an internet realationship coz I felt really low.. but now I think its a farse. Im never gonna meet them, and how can you share affection >) Its quite pointless, and you dont know who they are, they could be 15 and they claim to be 12 etc..
Also, I believe that you should have a proper face to face conversation etc to have a good bond, so it is even hard to have an internet mate...

It can do alot of good for people, some people don't have enough confidence to actually approach someone in a pub/club and therefore being online they gain enough confidence to simply send them a message.

This however could also be bad, if someone hasn't the confidence to talk to you in a club. Would you really want to spend the rest of your life with them?

My views on internet dating:-

Well to be honest i see nothing wrong with it but ONLY if you have actually seen/heard the person by Webcam/phone because in todays world you can't trust no-one over the internet anymore so just be safe if your internet dating and assure that you know the person your dating because it could be some pervy old man..
