Really...Really...Pathetic

I got 2 messages today that i think are utterly pointless and a waste of space. And even the moderator's who sent them don't deserve to be moderator's. It is outlined as spamming my inbox i think.

Yeh, maybe they don't want these things happening but let me explain.

No.1 - It was a pointless thread and was pointing that out to moderators but oh no, they're like traffic wardens. Book you for nothing.
No.2 - Now c'mon. Grow up! It's not the real worl you know, all i want to do is talk about games and website design and your complaining because if i make a good point then rep me? That is really pathetic.

You should read the rules sometimes.

A15. C13. Do not ask for reputations points directly or indirectly - Do not make a post or a thread or send a pm asking for someone to give you reputation points. This also holds for your signature.

Those moderators were only doing their jobs. You shouldn't make fun out of those warnings because believe me many people did but they don't find it that funny anymore they warn you so you know when and how you broke the rules. This thread should get closed anyway :rolleyes:

Number one - the cheek to break the forum rules with that post :rolleyes:

Number two - thats their job and if they dont do it then they will lose it.

Number three - we have rules and rules are meant to be enforced or it would just be pointless to have

Number four - They are told to Private Message the offence breaker when they do something like that. This is because the members are then aware they did something wrong and wont carry on to break the rules without intentions too. I mean think of it this way how would you feel if you continued to "Pointless Post" and no moderator told you about it then you were banned? The most likely comment we would recieve would be "I wasnt warned" or "No one told me it was against the forum rules", especially as some users will make a post and then never refer back to it therefore not seeing the Moderator Post Edit. So take those Pm's as a warning.

Number five - Just so members are clear on what a PM states or means the moderators are told to use a set template to PM members with and are told just to modify certain areas such as the link, thread name and Mod Username. That is a standard PM and they all say Thank You at the end of them as we are politely requesting for you to do something eg. remove a certain part of your signature or take future note to not spam, pointless post, etc.
