are you any good at map reading ?

someones just teaching me how to look at maps. and where things are and how to remember them.

she says you have to think
never (north)top
eat (east)left
shreaded (south)bottom
wheat (west)right

basically france is in the east of europe correct ?
ask me some qestions and test me.
do u have any other suggestions for me. so i know how the remember these things

just keep reapeating north sounth east and west north and south are easy cuz its up and down but east and west is dificult cuz peeps forget which is which so thing of it like this edgars lives east wendle lives west taht what helped me member or do a chain north east south west

Wrong. France is south of Britain, and both Britain and France are in Western Europe.

i really regret not taking geography... but i wud luv to know. what can i do to be a great geographer. cozzzz i luv animals n birds. i like wildlife n everything to do with the outside world but dont have any experience in it

Ok lol i have been doing map reading since i started scouts i have been there over 7 years so how do u find a grid reffercance? that should be easy
and then how can u find north on a map without a compass, ? and also how can u find out where u are if u can't rember?

I knew the 'Never eat shreded wheat' thing when I was like four, I got a navigoter in both my cars anyway. :rolleyes:
