That's to do with Username HTML Markup.

Goto UserGroups > Add a New UserGroup > Username HTML Markup.

First Box:

Enter the Required snippet. I.e:

<b> - Bold
<i> Itallic.

To do the colour change user <font color="Colour-Here">

Second Box:

Ending Tags..

</b>
</i>
</font>

You need to change the style go to the admincp and click styles then click your skin you want to edit..

then after that click style vars from the drop down menu
change 100% to some where along 80% - 82% i use 80%
