Chapter One

In a small town in Birmingham lived a 14 year old girl called Abbey. She wasnt really the best looking person in the world but you dont judge people on their looks do you? Abbey had 6 close friends who each adored her and shown passion. She would hang round with them every weekday and weekend as they were all great friends and all had a special bond.

Abbey had a crush on a guy called Steven. She first layed eyes on him in Year Seven. She thought she was just going through a crush but it didnt blow away. Now in year 10 she still likes him. Steven sometimes shown signs to her in Years Eight and Nine but she thought he was just trying to be friendly. Abbey has never had a boyfriend, she thought guys were disgusting in primary school until all of that changed.

Money morning arose in the small town in Birmingham and Abbeys alarm clock beeped off like usual. Abbey was prepared for a new week at Stronton C OF E High School and got all of her belongings together for school. Abbey usually set off with Jessica (one of her close friends) and took the route on the left way but Jessica was away in Spain so she walked down a different route. To her suprise she saw Steven walking down on his own. This could be her chance she thought.

" Hey Abbey! " Steven shouted.
" Hiya Steven " She repiled. Steven just stared at her for a few seconds taking a glimpse into her turqouise, shiny, sparkly eyes.
" Wanna come walk with me? " He asked. Should I? Theres no harm in that is there?
" Ok " I shouted running down to him.

We got into our form room at 8:45 and I got into my usual seat. Steven on the other hand didnt sit in his normal seat. Instead he sat next to me. While our form teacher was talking, Steven was whispering words into my ear.

" Abbey, will you meet me at the E building after school, I have something to tell you " He asked smiling.
" Yeah ok why not " I replied smiling back.

Could this be what I have been hoping for? For 3 years could this be my chance of happiness with a boy?
