Ok well i forgot what order a 4 string bass goes in so like when u have abcd well which ones are in what place on a bass? if that makes sense

it'd actually be GDAE

The G would be considered your "1" string so it'd go at the bottom when you're looking down... although when I'm playing I always consider that the top for some reason.

How I remember my strings is

E
B
Goes
Down
And
Eats
