Well, You can not tell people what is the best armour. It depends on who you are fighting and how. As I was never P2P, I can't help.
Melee is mostly rune based, Although people like to add items like green vambs, Wizard hat, Anti fire shield to help them out.
Ill sum it up but you can edit this loasd
Rune - Full rune
Range - Full Green dragon hide
Mage - Monk bottoms, Wizard hat, Wizard top
