Default Habbo Teaching Children Wrong Morals.

Okay i decided id have a rant about habbo...

Basically Ive been on habbo close to 4 years now and its always the same thing. Its a popularity contest and once you learn the basics of habbo you find out its all about "popularity" and "contests"

See the popular list.. See the Competitions Its all the same bulls**t all the time...

basically my view on it is... The ugly fat kid is always picked last and it teaches kids the wrong morals in life... Life isnt about possesions but in habbo it is.

I understand Habbo have to make a profit as it really has turned from a simple game where people can trust one another into a dog eat dog "I WANT PROFITTTT PLZ"

i think the management is at fault.. I have many problems with callie and how she "runs" the hotel. Be it she is a pawn for sulake just to use like ronald mc donald or w.e but its still the same thing

When will habbo judge people on merit and intelligence and not on winning and being popular - my answer is never

So anyways ill ask others... Do you feel the morality of Habbo is set about the wrong way?

    Discuss please

Well, Habbo need to stop being so greedy thats for sure, they make a lot of money as it is and your totally right on the fact that Habbo is a popularity contest, but people shouldn't use Habbo in real life situations because it's only an online chat game if you think about it, anyone who does takes Habbo far too seriously.

As you may know I have been on habbo for 4 years, I stopped going about 2 years ago and when I di ione was the HM. When I cam back it was Callie and habbo was a completely different place.

Needleless to say I'm leaving habbo.

well some of the habboX's are perfect choices... i know quite a few of them are very helpfull and i know myself i couldnt stick listening to noobs all day long

but some choices i will agree are just people callie knows or likes... it is a bit of a shame but shes been corrupt since day 1... out to make profit not for the fun of the game

    somewhere that was lost

anyways back on topic... im not getting at the popularity thing too much... of course its a popularity contest we all know that

the problem is the morality of the hotel its about who is in 1st place

who is in the "top 10" of the rankings in battleball - What did that cause?
Everyone to cheat and use "bait" and stay online for hours to try and make the "top 10"

anyways morals stuck up ur bum:p

Yep, Battleball badges were soo popular ages ago, they are completly ignored, for once some NEW people had a bit of fame, this whole Habbo X thing killed it and all the Pets came back, shows how easily people get ignored.

Well, actually, it's kind of silly that they would spend so much money for.. virtual bouncing in the first place, lol. :/

Anyway, yes, I don't believe Habbo is teaching good morals.. But then again, Habbo wasn't made to teach morality. Just another form of online entertainment. o_O

..and uhmm.. Just a random thought here, but I don't believe the 'bobba' system is really helping anything, lol. I mean, totally innocent words can become 'bobba'd and it's funny because it actually contradicts its original purpose.

    Example: "This is exclusive."

    When filtered: "This ibobbaclusive."

Then, it makes you wonder what letters, or characters, were 'bobba'd, so you're actually thinking of the swear word the sentence could have contained, so this system sometimes teaches us swear words.. >_>

    Ah, well.

    Habbo Hotel- where else? :/

Also when the Rares were being released there was a message on the homepage or in the newsie saying something along the lines of

" Are you prepaired to wait till midnight for your favorite rare to be released"

Well assuming that there alot of people still at high school who go on habbo this isnt really helping them is it?

This was also the case with the Knight roller, People waiting till midnight for it, then it was out for ages after than anyways.
