Hey I've had my account since early 2001 but never realy played it.. I have a blue poogle called cartrit you can view it's stats here http://neopets.com/search.phtml?sele...string=cartrit

Anyways I want to be able to make it good for battle dome, I think I have a zapatron 2000 or something and a good selection of other items but I want to make him better. Like get good fairie abilitys or some sorts. If anyone can give me a personal guide for training good and using fairies to get good skills then I'll give rep, thanks.

So you want to go fight and beat an opponent but dont know what to do? Read this guide to learn how!

First go to the training school on Mystery Island. Then the Training School.

Now click on the school and in the top left corner you should see a button that says courses.

Now scroll to the bottom and select the pet you wish to train and which stat *statistic* You should be re-directed to the status page.Next to your pet there should be a codestone.Using the shopwizard find the codestone you need and buy it.Once bought go back to the Training School go to status and click the
HERE button and then your course starts. I suggest training Strength then Defence then Health Health then level. You can only train Strength and Defence so many times before you need to increase your level but not for health you can do extra courses without raising level.

Next is battle dome weapons.
This is the best weapon set up you can get for under 35000 neopoints:

Scarab Ring *2,000 Neopoints*
Scarab Ring *2,000 Neopoints*
Downsize! *12,000 Neopoints*
Leaf Shield *12,000 Neopoints*
Lesser Healing Scroll *1,200 Neopoints*
Purple Sticky Hand *800 Neopoints*
Illusens Earth Potion*4,000 Neopoints*
Obsidian Dagger *1,000 neopoints*

That should do good for a while. Once you start getting stronger * About 35 Str 35 Def * And would like to upgrade heres the next set * WARNING this IS expensive *
Halo of Devilpuss *330,000 Neopoints*
Halo of Devilpuss *330,000 Neopoints YOU CAN replace the second Halo of Devilpuss with an Obsidian Dagger but need atleast one for the next set.
Greater Healing Scroll *1,500 neopoints*

Now! What to do in the battledome

On the first turn you will want to use your Illusens Earth Potion + Obsidiain Dagger and where it says Select An Ability for *Your pet here* scroll through and click Fierce Attack. Next press Go! Youll have done some damagae to your opponent Youll notice your Illusens Earth Potion is gone, its ony ONCE
per battle. Next turn if your above 70% HP or your opponent is not hitting hard at all use your Scarab Ring + Obsidian Dagger + Fierce Attack. But if your having some trouble use Scarab Ring + Healing Scroll and in your abilities click heal.Youll notice your Healing scroll is gone it also is a ONCE use item per battle. Next turn you should have some HP back. Now use your Scarab Ring + Scarab Ring + Defend, Scarab Rings defend /AND/ attack so they are good battles. Now if your opponent is still doing some good damage to you use your Downsize! + Scarab Ring + Defence this will block 50% of the icons done to you. Downsize is also once per battle. Now if you still havent won and want to have some fun use your Sticky Hand + Scarab Ring + defend. You have a chance to steal your opponents weapon.Next use a weapon + obsidian dagger + Fierce attack. You should of won by this time.

Once you get used to battling you can mix it up and use different combos.

Now if you were reading through this and said " Huh what are icons!?!?! " Icons are basically the type of damage the weapon does and determains how much damage the weapon does.

Except the Fiery battle carrot... right now I've got about 200k invested in items.
The things that I am looking for is when I'm training stats at the schools is it my "level" that determines how much it will cost, or is it the skill that I am training?
Because I have up to level 13 darkness faerie power and I want to get the last one but that's over 20 "level".. and if it's that which determines how much codestones I will have to use I'd want to wait untill everything's high.. But if it's just the stat I'm training..
