Does any one know a script so u can host a Search engine a small one so you can search it and u click search and a small lsit comes up?

I don't want it so it only searches my site i want it so if u type somthing in like: Habbox it appears as:

[Banner here]
------------------------
HabboxForum.com
blahblah blah

etc etc./

Do you mean so you advertise it on e.g google.

my own search engine like google or yahoo etc.

so you can add the sites and when ppl search it it comes up like googles but with a diff banner etc.

some 1 made somthing like this before on here.

You'll never be able to compete, unless you buy huge servers and create a spider algorithim, but with a lot of work you could make a small scale thing.

Using the Google API you can make one that searches the Google database

You don't really need any skills to do the search (www.tim-rogers.co.uk/search is mine) but to make it look half decent you need real skills in PHP and web design
