I know what rep power is but why do we have Rep bars?

Yer eg. I have a lame 224 reppie

So.. I get 1 bar automatically and 2 for 200 rep points so I have 3 bars

no. i have 10 rep bars and 1410 rep and 11 rep power... when you get to the light green blocks, it's every 200 rep points you get a block.
