It would be good if you get an Alert when a certain person came online. Say you wanted to trade someone, Then you would set an Alert for that person so you know when they are online so you can trade them. Or if one of your friends doesn't come on much anymore. You could set an Alert to see when then do come on so you can have a chat with them or something.

I can see where your coming from with your idea. But as lSuper said it will cause alot of lag.
